Dr. Tarter grew up on a farm in Canton, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.  She then moved to Montana for a year and a half to work at a mixed animal practice.

She enjoys working with both large and small animals with a special interest in cattle and equine!  She has 3 dogs, Murphy, Lou, and Duke, and a horse named Lena!
